Vitramo GmbH is an owner-managed company producing highly efficient and small-format infrared heating elements for wall and ceiling installation "made in germany" at the Tauberbischofsheim site in Baden-Württemberg. The distribution is exclusively carried out in three stages via the specialised trade. Vitramo is the recognised supplier of the electrical wholesale trade in Germany for the market segment "radiant heating/infrared heating".

Vitramo is dependent on an exact design of the infrared heating system during project planning and therefore works very closely with architects and energy consultants. We react quickly and competently to enquiries and are available for project meetings on site.

Thanks to innovative product ideas, we are increasingly succeeding in establishing radiant heating as an efficient building heating system in new buildings or existing buildings renovated to low-energy or passive house standards in conjunction with a photovoltaic system. The Vitramo heating system is also being used more and more frequently in commercial buildings or churches.

Vitramo has been successfully presenting its new products for years at leading international trade fairs for architecture (BAU Munich), building services engineering (light&building, Frankfurt) and heating (ISH, Frankfurt), among others.


As a leading manufacturer, Vitramo GmbH offers highly efficient and cost-effective infrared heaters for wall and ceiling mounting, as well as long wave infrared dark radiators, infrared radiators, infrared mirror heaters, bathroom radiators, bath radiators, radiant heaters, ceramic radiators, quartz radiators, light radiators, radiant heaters, radiant heaters and church heaters (including under bench heating elements).

The series are subdivided as follows:
Radiant heater series VH; ceiling mounted infrared heater for surface mounting on the ceiling, surface temperature max. 190°C
Louvre ceiling heating element VH06262 suitable for insertion into a louvre ceiling (so-called Odenwald ceiling or also system ceiling
Radiant heater of the VH-I series; frameless, integrable infrared heater for installation in the ceiling cladding

The dream house of family Geiger, built in 2018, not only sets new standards in terms of environmental friendliness, it is six years ahead of the amended german GEG. With an impressive energy efficiency of 33 kWh/m², the timber frame construction is an example of sustainable construction. The electricity-powered direct heating, which is expressly mentioned in the GEG from January 2024, plays a central role.

To ensure the house's low heat requirements, the Geigers decided early on to use Vitramo infrared heating. Corinna Geiger, managing director of an electrical trade company, had already had positive experiences with this heating method in her office. The selection of Vitramo as a manufacturer was based on quality, the label “Made in Germany” and individual planning support.

The house integrates photovoltaics and battery storage to generate a significant amount of the energy required.
