INDELAGUE GROUP: HISTORY AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
Our history started in 1978 in Portugal when we developed our first lighting products. The last 45 years, allowed us to acquire the necessary know-how to research, test and produce our own luminaires and lighting solutions. The continuous investment in Research and Development of new methods for product design, alongside innovation in the production process, makes us ambitious and confident about the future. Also the competence, quality and skills of our human resources are one of our main priorities. We continue to expand into new markets and improve our expertise in the services that we provide.
The Indelague Group, through Indelague, Indelague España and Roxo Lighting brands in the lighting sector, supplies solutions of professional indoor and outdoor lighting, LED solutions and lighting management systems. We are present worldwide in more than 30 countries, either through direct sales or strategic partnerships with professional distributors, aiming to maintain and improve our sales network in the global lighting sector.
INNOVATION, DESIGN, TECHNOLOGY, PERFORMANCE, QUALITY The R&D (Research & Development) department occupies a key position among the activities of the Indelague Group. The close relationship with our clients is fundamental to monitoring and following up the market trends and developments, which motivates, even more, our R&D team to search for new materials, and solutions and run tests even more strict and accurate, allowing the Indelague Group to guarantee a high technological level and unique quality standards.
Our R&D team is focused on the research and development of innovative LED products, thorough testing (thermal, photometric and functional) in our laboratory and through partnerships with independent labs.
Last years we won a prestigious international German Design Award in 2017 (6th ELEMENT), 2018 (NOAH), 2020 (TALEA), 2021 (CONCEPT S 35) and 2025 (SONA and GOMO) with the Awards Excellent Product Design.
INDELAGUE GROUP: RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Our products are the outcome of constant and continued research in different areas, from optical components and electronics, to design and photometric, leading to products that embody advanced technology with sustainable materials and timeless design. We constantly developed highly advanced production processes in order to reach lower energy consumption, higher product lifetime, optimized operating temperatures, new light effects and excellent performances. We have a very important role in the implementation of new technologies within the sector, by projecting and producing our own LED boards, developing innovative products and allowing architects, light designers and end-users may explore all the possibilities of our lighting solutions. Indelague Group, through several tests made, advanced knowledge on product development and permanent optimal materials use, supplies lighting that stands out on optical performance, durability and energy saving.
PROJECTS
We are continuously defining new ways to create new lighting products for different applications. Cultural, social and urban projects gave us new opportunities and capabilities to learn how to highlight some details, surfaces and architectonic volumes. Lighting has rapidly evolved into a deep architectural revolution. It is an essential element for quality and well-being in any kind of environment, including offices, retail stores, museums, schools, universities, private houses, parks and gardens. Indelague Group supplies sophisticated and added-value lighting solutions. Our product range covers different application sectors. We have acquired, through the years, solid experience and knowledge to answer all functional and aesthetic needs of your projects. Each project requires a customized approach and for that reason, we have created our Light Design Department, where we offer all the necessary support to our clients, architects, interior designers and light designers.
