Title 20 is part of the Appliance Efficiency Regulation and California Code of

  p! z8 L$ d9 o2 L8 Nmanufacturer certification of “self-contained” lighting control devices in California.
* B; R3 N: v$ i( Q$ ]6 z“Self-contained” lighting control devices are defined as discrete lighting control devices that can perform their
3 D( o, W5 l. M7 l4 xdesigned function without the requirement of being connected to additional devices.
Common devices that may fall under the category of “Self-contained” include:
• Self-contained Automatic Daylighting Controls
• Dimmers
• Line powered Occupancy Sensors
• Line power Vacancy Sensors

Commission (CEC) web site. The manufacturer also must provide a declaration that the information about the
8 j% D+ k* m) Lproducts is accurate for the submitted products.
0 W' j  F9 s- x5 t! TThe CEC reviews each submission and supports an online database to find the list of approved Title 20 products
7 F0 {# _7 i, t; d/ u4 mby manufacturer or technology type.
Approved self-contained Title 20 products can be found on the CEC Appliance Effieciency Database at
http://www.energy.ca.gov/appliances/database/
This location also contains a list of historical Title 20 databases for products that previously applied to Title 20.
