Cascade is now one of the UK’s largest suppliers of decorative lighting, with product on the shelves of major department stores, DIY chains and supermarkets. Over 50 years ago this family owned company first began to manufacture Table and Floor lamps as a complementary addition to their then existing product, occasional furniture.
A reliable product and an excellent understanding of market requirements generated nationwide sales, initially through wholesale outlets, Mail Order catalogues and a small foothold on the high street. Within 10 years interest from major retail outlets meant a move to larger purpose built premises.
As manufacturing in the UK declined Cascade sought partners in the far east to produce their products, opening offices in Hong Kong to ensure product quality and conformity to electrical and safety standards. Cascade Far East, now based in China and expanded to include their own inspection and QC team, allows for direct supply enabling some of our customers to have a greater control over their currency, freight and distribution costs. Our current UK 500,000sqft premises allow us to hold stock against orders providing continuity of supply either in bulk or by direct fulfilment.
